G-Star Shryke

G-Star Shryke – The Shryke is one of the best new discs to the market in 2017. Very far flying with a ton of glide. It has a very similar rim feel to the Destroyer but flies like a beat up Destroyer right out of the box. It is one of Innova’s best selling drivers and is great for people of all skill levels. Most Shrykes have a pretty rounded shoulder that flattens out near the center of the disc. While not super flat it still feels great in the hand. We at OTB have become big fans of this disc as our long bomber disc. It has a decent amount of both turn and fade, and it has a ton of glide, as the 6 glide shows. The Shryke just wants to stay in the air at fast speeds for ever. It continuously pushes forward until the very end of its flight. If you need some extra distance grab a G Star Shryke and let it rip. The GStar plastic has a nice soft feel to it with plenty of grip!

Innova says this about the mold: “The Shryke is an easy to throw, very long range driver for a wide variety of players. A mild high speed turn puts the Shryke in glide mode, which along with its high aerodynamic speed, give it incredible distance. The low speed fade is also mild, which makes it easy to keep on the fairway. The Shryke is similar to our popular Tern but faster and slightly more high speed stable.”
